Apart from the MPG problem I'm having I've just ordered a pair of Boot Struts for the C/2 from SGS Engineering in Derby at a cost of £35. 08 which includes VAT, delivery and club discount.
Opening the Boot is a little lethal, having got me at least twice!

I used this outfit about 2yrs ago when I needed a pair for the C/1, thanks to someone in the club who recommended them and they still seem to be very helpful.

Howdy Boys
Forgot to follow this up. Struts arrived, about half hour to fit and boot now good.
Highly recommended.
